C A Cafe OLD 11-2-14 OLD 11-2-14
Located at the St. Petersburg Clay Company in the historic Seaboard train station, C.A. Cafe is a family owned and operated business.
We chose this building because it exudes charm with its antique style brick architecture. It was constructed in 1926 by the Tampa and Gulf Coast Railroad Company, and operated as part of the Sealine Air Line Railroad freight depot until 1967. The building is brick in masonry vernacular style and is the cities only unaltered example of railroad architecture.
It's decorated with various colorful paintings from Tampa Bay artists, provided by Beth Morean of the Morean Arts Center.
