Fifty Grit is a three piece classic rock band based in New Port Richey,
Florida. Members are Ray Letts bass guitar and vocals,Conrad
Boudreau guitar and vocals and Kirk Yates on drums. The trio has
been performing in local venues for 4 years now.
Band members Ray Letts and Conrad Boudreau grew up in Rhode Island,
playing guitar together and sharing the same musical influences; Rolling
Stones, Deep Purple, Led Zeppelin and Humble Pie to name a few.
Following a thirty year period with no contact that took Ray to Florida and
Conrad to California, the pair united to play music together once again in
2012, along with drummer Kirk Yates. Growing up in New York, Kirk Yates
shares a strong passion for classic rock, with influences such as Keith
Moon and John Bonham. The raw energy and spontaneity put forth by
Kirk during Fifty Grit’s live performances provides a unique and
entertaining listener experience.
The band performs popular classic rock music from the 1965-1985 era of
FM radio. The carefully selected song repertoire reflects the band
members’ own musical influences, providing cohesive and energetic
performances that appeal to a wide audience.
