Some of the most popular big bands in Florida during the 1990's were the John Danser Big Band, Leon Merian Big Band, Sarasota Pops, the U.S. Navy Band and The Peter Duchin Orchestra. Now, several veterans of those groups have come together once again to form the Oceans Eleven Jazz Band.

Led by the extraordinary drummer Bryan Post, Oceans Eleven is dedicated to promoting and continuing the jazz traditions as practiced by Count Basie, Duke Ellington, Buddy Rich , and Quincy Jones among others. This ensemble combines years of experience, incredible showmanship and vibrant solos by 11 of Sarasota's finest musicians and enjoys rave reviews and standing ovations at every performance.

The Oceans Eleven Jazz Band performs a myriad of styles in the jazz idiom with the swing and excitement both casual and serious jazz audiences expect and deserve.
