The Ride For Hospice was founded in 2009 by the efforts of three dedicated women, Kym Corkum, Judy Tyler and Margaret Bushell. Corkum and Tyler had attended a Hike for Hospice and wanted to create a similar event that would include a horseback ride. They then contacted Bushell, who helped with organization and added the manpower of the Pasco Sheriff's Mounted Posse. Margaret along with her husband John, hosted the Ride For Hospice at their Diamond 'B' Ranch in Dade City for the first four years. In 2013, the event is moving to Fair Haven Farms in Land O' Lakes so that we can accomodate campers and additional riders.
