Keith Robert Barnier (Keith Roberts) has been an artist of many mediums for as long as he can remember. He dabbles in painting, drawing, writing, and designing, yet he burns brightest when on stage, beer within reaching distance, guitar in hands, and sultry lyrics on his tongue.

Over the past ten years, Keith has had the privilege of recording, distributing, and touring with three independent releases; Chasing Seven's Run (2001), Deeper (2002), and This Time Around (2006).

Now, on Keith's fourth trip to the studio, and third full-length album, he is joining forces with old friend and colleague, Music City Producer, Stephen Gause. Together they are reinventing Keith's sound and his message. This new set of tracks showcase a completely different sound and prospective than that of his earlier work. This new sound is within the contemporary rock genre yet still touches the roots of soul & blues. With this new album, Keith hopes to uncover his story and communicate with the world the struggles and triumphs he has been dealing with over the past 7 years.

Keith has spent much of 2012 ramping up his creative efforts and preparing to record this record. After a tumultuous seven-year recording hiatus, he has started to grow into a place where he can say what he wants to say, not what other people want him to say, and this verbal freedom has brought him to an entirely different place with regards to his art. When asked about this new album Keith replied, ?This is exactly where I need to be in my life right now, writing, playing, performing. I am ready to dive in to the Indie Rock scene with a new sound, and an honest heart. I am more excited about this album then any of the I have done. On this record I am taking chances I have never taken before. I think it will be the best art that I have created because I am rising above the constructs of any genre, allowing me the most creative freedom I've ever had. I feel this project will surprise a lot of people.?

On a personal note, Keith has a big and close family and he says they are most important to him. He has a beautiful 41/2 year old daughter who is the light of his life. Most of his ambition and drive for success derives from her. He is a positive person and looks to the beauty in life and in people. Although his new album addresses some relational struggles and issues that everyone faces, he hopes the lyrics and sound will connect with the audience on a level that can promote awareness to re-gain a positive prospective.
