News From Bree is a Jupiter, Florida-based music group performing popular covers in a folk/bluegrass style, with rich vocal harmonies, banjo, and foot percussion characterizing their sound. Founding members Adam Haupt and Samuel King have performed as News From Bree since 2018, sometimes as a duet but more typically as a three-piece group with a variety of talented musicians filling the third spot over the years.
The name “News From Bree” comes from the ninth chapter of J.R.R. Tolkien’s The Fellowship of the Ring:
