Born in Havana, Cuba, Freddy Montes is an accomplished guitar player, percussionist, composer, arranger, singer and band leader. He comes from a family of Cuban music royalty that includes pianists Chucho Valdes and the late Bebo Valdes.
The Freddy Montes band is a high-powered band that plays Afro-Cuban rhythms, Latin Jazz as well as traditional Cuban songs with a modern twist.
