I would like to introduce you to J.Coker & and the Root Swamp Funk band a out of Tampa Florida with an original, funky, melodic, southern style, they've created, called Root Swamp Funk, that has been attracting great reviews and media airplay on local stations, such as 102.1 FM, The Party Pirate!

They have been sponsored by Rolling Rock, Terrapin beer, as well as sponsored, and featured, numerous times in Tampa's premier motorcycle magazine, Born To Ride. They are now riding the number 7 spot on the local country charts, and have become the highest booked bands in the Tampa Bay area. Recently, the band took 2nd place in 2 categories, best roots/alternative country & best jam band, in the 2010 Best Of The Bay Awards by Creative Loafing.

Their feet stomping covers, hard hitting originals, and full band energy, along with dueling harmonicas, Dobro and an assortment of road side instruments, create a show to be enjoyed by all ages.
