Tim Goodman was born in Connellsville on July 4th, 1955. He started his life (MUSIC) with drums, following his talented mother, when he was five. By the age of 12, he was touring with the Fayette Singing Boys Choir. The Director of the choir, David Craig PhD, saw 12 year old raw talent and took him under his wing, having Tim studying theory, harmony, composition and arranging with college age peers. To say he was a natural growing up with early influences like his mom and, of course, Harold Betters would be a trivialization of his impressive talent. Through over 50 years crossing the US, Canada and Japan (with another great Connellsville talent, Gary Walker), Tim has developed a love for keyboards and the bass also. He has shared the stage and his talent with Bobby Vinton, Jerry Lee Lewis, Lou Rawls and many others. He has served as musical director for Frankie Valli's brother, Bobby, The Reflections (Just Like Romeo and Juliet), The Crystals (Da Do Ron Ron, Then He Kissed Me), Frankie Ford (Sea Cruise), even the Pittsburgh Steelers Jazz Band with Harold Betters and works for production companies like Michael D’Amore Productions, solo artist and lead singer for The Capri’s ( There’s A Moon Out Tonight and Morse Code Of Love ) in Florida that provide backup oldies bands.
