Matt Aukerman is a singer/songwriter from Tampa, Florida. His music is an emotional and engaging new wave of acoustic music that has won over audiences around the state of Florida. His catchy and unique originals along with an eclectic repertoire of cover songs make for a captivating and entertaining show.

As a recent college graduate, Matt has decided to pursue his life-long passion for music. He has recently recorded two cover songs in Orlando, Florida and is currently building the capital and assets necessary to further launch his career.

Matt has been performing his solo act for over 3 years and was formerly the front-man of the hard rock band Filjar, also from Tampa. With Filjar, Matt performed at the 2006 Vans Warped Tour, sharing stages with artists like Gym Glass Heroes and Paramore and playing alongside bands such as The Offspring and Joan Jett and the Blackhearts. He has performed for crowds in the thousands all while receiving great support and positive feedback.
