Dr. Scott Routenberg is an experienced and versatile composer, arranger, jazz pianist, audio programmer and teacher currently working in Florida. Scott holds three graduate degrees from the University of Miami Frost School of Music, including the following: Doctor of Musical Arts in Jazz Composition (2008), Master of Music in Media Writing and Production (2005), and Master of Music in Jazz Piano Performance (2003). Scott also holds a BA in Music (Jazz Emphasis) and Communications from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (2001).

Scott's classical compositions have been performed by the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra, the Phoenix Symphony Orchestra, the Naples Philharmonic, the New York Youth Symphony's Jazz Band Classic, and many other ensembles. Premieres include Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, Atlanta Symphony Hall, Schoenberg Hall (UCLA), the Fox Newman Scoring Stage in Los Angeles, and Gusman Concert Hall (University of Miami). Conductors who have premiered Scott's classical pieces include Michael Krajewski, Vince Mendoza, Thomas Sleeper, Huifang Chen, and Sofia Kraevska.
